Florida artist and UW alumn Harold Garde developed a print transfer process called Strappo. Working with acrylic paint, a glass plate, and gesso, an image is painted and transferred onto paper. During his 3-day residency at the Art Museum in conjunction with his 50-year retrospective exhibition, Garde conducted a workshop to demonstrate the process to students and local artists.
