After a successful and well received premier at the public art symposium, the Art Museum is hosting another 20:20 on June 1st, from 6 - 8 pm at the Museum. 20:20 is the Museum's newest program and there are plans underway for a series of three events throughout next year. Each 20:20 will focus on a separate group of artists and arts organizations. The June 1st event is specially for SE Wyoming, a second 20:20 is planned for state-wide artists and arts organizations, tentatively scheduled for September, and a third will be held next February for students, in conjunction with the annual Juried Student Exhibition.
The format of 20:20 allows presenters 20 images, each shown for 20 seconds. This results in a 6 minute and 40 second presentation that gives artists, educators and arts organizations a chance to share their work, their accomplishments or new programs.
Join us on June 1st for an exciting and informative 20:20 and come support your local, SE WY artists and art organizations. Afterward, meet up downtown at Altitude Chophouse and Bar for a chance to catch up with colleagues, enjoy some drinks and talk about art!
