The University of Wyoming Art Museum will be open with its regular hours this Saturday, May 29, from 10 am - 5 pm. Due to the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 31, the Art Museum will be closed.
Summer activities and exhibitions will kick off in the first week of June, with a new summer exhibition, Dufy by Design: The Fabric Designs of Raoul Dufy opening on Friday, June 4th, with a free opening reception that evening from 6-8 pm. A second summer exhibition, Neltje, is currently on view and will also be celebrated at the opening reception. Art Talks and Gallery Walk Throughs are scheduled June 3, 4, and 5 with Wyoming artist Neltje, curator Shirley Howarth, and UW faculty members Donna Brown, Sonya Meyer, Lee Hodgson, and Ellen Jaegersen.
